ExePlant, part of OMEGALLIANCE® Group, was awarded by the Schneider Electric Software company (part of AVEVA) for the largest project in 2017 implemented on the Wonderware platform. The project was launched in 2017 at one of the CIS largest mining and smelting plants that accounts for up to 38% of the global mining operations.
The project purpose was to implement the Digital Plant concept. The commissioned system will enable the Customer to effectively manage production processes, mitigate losses including those caused by loss of performance, provide accurate and timely data to all stakeholders. A pilot project that preceded the launch of the main project already demonstrated a significant potential of mining performance growth and production activities profitability.
Yury Kereynik, Exeplant Executive Director, received the award on behalf of the company. At the ceremony, Mr. Kereynik noted that digital technologies open up new possibilities through comprehensive approach to plant management, one of the manifestations of which is building the equipment and processes “digital twin”. The project that brought this award, is a major landmark on the Customer’s way towards Industry 4.0 and digital transformation, aimed at achieving objective and significant economic, process and social effects.
