MES Engineering (Exeplant at present), one of the OMEGALLIANCE® Group companies, successfully commissioned the second stage of the Automated Operational Supervisory Control System (AOSCS) for production of BR, BR Nd, SSBR, DST, and SBR at the JSC Voronezhsintezkauchuk plant.
The automated operational supervisory control system (AOSCS) is designed to automate control and management of manufacturing processes. It provides remote collection of reliable real-time data on manufacturing processes in main workshops and laboratories.
"This tool is not only useful but also necessary both for top management and engineering service," Chief Technical Officer, Alexey Tkachev, summarizes his impressions of the software.
Directly at the workplace you can visually track changes in most process parameters in main fabrication shops, receive analysis data, and control component feed to the catalyst complex, solvent and raw materials consumption at the battery, feed to degasification system, and finished products quantity. Analytical data is represented in tables. In short, the system undertakes all mundane labor-consuming work on collection of data needed to draw conclusions and make decisions. Currently, more than 60 employees sucessfully use this system.
The system is based on Wonderware software and VMware virtualisation technology.
